Terms Of Use
The short version: be a good citizen, verify camp details directly with the operator, and don't pretend the directory is a guarantee.
These terms govern use of the public Summer Camp Planner site and the shared household planner workspace. The service is published by Human Renaissance Corporation.
Service scope
- The public directory and guides are informational tools, not guarantees of camp availability or pricing.
- Families are responsible for verifying camp details directly with the operator before enrolling.
- Shared workspaces are collaboration tools and may change as members edit the same plan.
No warranty — information is provided "as is"
All content on the site, including camp listings, dates, prices, locations, age ranges, descriptions, pros and cons, sponsorships, guides, and any data surfaced inside the planner, is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that information is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular family or child. Camp operators change schedules, prices, capacity, and policies at any time, often without notice to us.
Always verify details directly with the camp operator before enrolling, paying, or making any other final decision.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Human Renaissance Corporation, its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates disclaim all liability for any loss or damage — including without limitation direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, missed enrollment, refused refunds, travel costs, or childcare gaps — arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the service, reliance on any information in the directory, guides, or planner, or any action taken by a camp operator or third party. You use the service at your own risk.
Accounts and workspaces
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- Owners control workspace membership and permissions.
- Non-owner members may leave a workspace, but owners cannot abandon a workspace through the current UI.
Public submissions
- Feedback, corrections, and camp suggestions may be reviewed and used to improve the directory.
- Do not submit unlawful, abusive, or misleading content.
Advertising and sponsorship
Public pages may include display advertising or clearly labeled sponsorships. Sponsored placement does not guarantee planner suitability for any child or week.
Availability
The service may change over time. Features may be added, removed, or modified as the product evolves.
