Wait — is this actually free?
Yes. The whole planning workspace is free for families. We make money by helping camps fill empty slots (sponsored placements, clearly labeled). You'll never pay us a dime to use the planner, and we don't sell your kids' info to anybody, ever.
How many camps are in the catalog?
19,500+ camps and counting, verified weekly. Full-depth coverage across 45+ US and Canadian metros — New York, the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Toronto, Portland, Chicago, Seattle, Phoenix, Vancouver, and more. New camps get added all summer.
Do you cover sleepaway camps?
Yes — both day camps and overnight/sleepaway camps. The week-grid handles both. Sleepaway camps just take up multiple weeks at a time.
Can I share my plan with my partner / co-parent / nanny / grandma?
Yes. Generate a read-only share link. Your collaborators can see the whole grid — what kid is at what camp, when, with what extended-care arrangement, who's doing pickup — without needing to log in or create an account.
What about kids with different needs / different ages?
The whole point. One row per kid means you can plan a 6-year-old and a 12-year-old (and a teenager who refuses to do "camp" at all) on the same grid. Filter by age per kid, see who's covered when.
Does it actually register us for camps?
No — registration still happens directly with each camp. We give you the link, the open date, the deadlines, and a place to track what's been sent and paid. Auto-registration is a future thing we're noodling on.
Will you remind me about deadlines?
Yes. Optional email reminders for registration windows, deposit due dates, and final payment deadlines. Off by default, on if you want them.
Who built this?
A parent who got fed up with juggling 14 spreadsheets, 3 Notion pages, and 200 unread Substack newsletters every March trying to figure out summer. Started building this in 2024, opened it up to families across the US and Canada in 2025.
Can I add a camp that isn't in your catalog?
Yes. Add custom camps to your own plan — useful for niche programs, friend's-mom-runs-it situations, or that one cousin's pool that counts as childcare in July.
